Annual Convention

More than 300 activity professionals attended APO's 2009 convention which celebrated 25 years of the organization and was held October at Blue Mountain in Collingwood.

APO's next convention will take place in Toronto, October 20-22, 2010, at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Centre.

There is so much we can accomplish in our field, and there is comfort in knowing we are all there for one another, navigating through the changes that we are currently going through and those to come.

APO Member

  • earlybird rate: $375
  • after Sept. 14th: $400
  • Thursday only: $220
  • Friday only: $180

Non Member

  • earlybird rate: $510
  • after Sept. 14th: $535
  • Thursday only: $255
  • Friday only: $215

Administrator: $300

Rates above include all meals/entertainment.  Attendees are responsible for booking their own accommodations, if needed.

Call for papers to present at Convention 2010

This is the first call for papers for the 2010 Activity Professionals of Ontario Convention to be held at the Sheraton Airport Hotel and Conference Centre, Toronto, Ontario from October 20th-22nd, 2010.  Speakers wishing to submit a proposal should do so by April 23rd, 2010.

Convention 2009 Marks 25th Anniversary

Congratulations APO on 25 years! What a fabulous celebration we had in October at Blue Mountain. Thank you to all of the great members … it was made special by having so many of you there to help celebrate our incredible organization.

Another thank you must go out to Judy O’Neill and Bev Little for putting their heart and soul into this convention. To the wonderful host team of Region 5, you were a great group to work with.
